Twitter Gives Analytics Access To All Users

By Hassan Khan

A big development, and good news for users, has emerged from the Twitter headquarters today. They have announced that all users will now be given access to their analytics system. This information was previously limited to advertisers.

The data is quite wide ranging and will offer lots of new options for Twitter users. For example, it allows users to see impressions, clicks, tweet activity, re-tweets and the engagement rate. This can help users to improve their account and profile, as well as aiding them in pursuing their online goals (connecting with the audience they want to reach).

Twitter has now opened up it's analytical access to all of it's users. Having this type of information is so helpful for companies that want to see how their products are doing through their tweets. You can now tract your tweets and even see how they are performing and how many people are liking them. Before, this update one really could not see how their tweets were doing all of this is so different now as it is helpful to share all sorts of information that people did not know of before.

Overall, if you are someone who is looking for a quick way to find out if your product is doing good or not I suggest you look into this update. This update can also help you see which places in the market you should be stepping your foot into and which markets you should be staying away from instead. This update is so different from all the other updates that Twitter has made before. It makes me proud to state that Twitter is the first to make this bold step. If, you want more information surrounding the new update feel free to ask me.

Currently, the Tweet activity dashboard is being offered as a feature for users that tweet primarily in English, French, Spanish or Japanese and who have had an account for a minimum of 14 days. Twitter is gradually rolling out the feature to users whose accounts are run in other languages, and they have the goal of supporting all major languages in the near future. You don't need to do anything to activate analytics. They should be active for your account, assuming it is established, automatically. Simply log in to the analytics page with the account that interests you.

Personally, I feel this is not as helpful as it can be for companies or celebs that use Twitter on a daily basis. It can really help companies see what kind of target they should be going after, it really can help with the whole business area, but for just a normal person not so much.
