Marketing on the internet, while intimidating at first, can have fantastic results, giving a much better return on initial investment than traditional advertising. What is your passion? Choose something that you can really indulge yourself in, when you do that you know what people like. You want to make sure you add items on your site that you know will sell. It's better to add 10 items that people will buy rather than 100 that no one is interested in.

Keep your content constant. No one enjoys visiting a website when the information is old and the links are outdated or broken. Make sure to provide upkeep to your older content, as well as, constantly providing new content. New visitors will often search out the older information to get a feel for your site and you don't want them to be disappointed!

If you have any well-known people that have purchased your product it would be nice if you got permission from them to let everyone know that they did that. People are more likely to purchase things when they know that well-known people have bought them.

Everyone loves free calendars, particularly when it is getting near the end of the year. You should have some calendars made up and offer one free with every purchase from your site. They may cost a little, but it is a very handy way to get your name seen by more people.
