I don't tell you they are an article marketing expert, however i do both. I run about 10 article sites and that i submit articles through an auto submitter. I'm you could make money both ways.
I submit from 5 to 25 articles per weeks using a free, online article submitter to post my articles to hundreds or thousands or sites. The articles run from 500 to at least one,000 words and so are related to something that I am selling.
As an example, I write articles about Thailand while promoting my affiliate hotel sites geared specifically to Thailand. Furthermore, i write marketing articles and point these phones a variety of sites which i run.
With all the auto submitter, I can get my articles and even more importantly, links to my sites, all over the net. The more links that period back to my sites, the higher the search engines like google much like me.
I have about 10 different article sites and a few blogs that accept articles automatically. I manually approve each article. I like to check to ensure that the submissions are following my submission guidelines.
The greatest violators put links inside the text and most 2 links in the resource box. I attempt to contact these to advise them of the rules and when they continue, I disable their accounts.
So, what's best? I would are saying that submitting the articles could be the more beneficial as it gets my links in tons of web sites. Back links are looked at very favorably from the search engines and that i love to have my links everywhere as well as for a long time.
And, if I am lucky, some marketer or eZine will be sending out my article with their mail list getting me more exposure.
Running the article sites is a little time consuming since i have have to look at the articles A few times daily or I buy inundated. Manual approval is a must for me ever since i want to check and be sure the submissions are quality.
And also the auto submitters, very few actual people consider the site, exactly the auto bots. However still think there is value since my own, personal articles get posted to my article sites, I will easily advertise, plus they are ranked packed with Google and Alexa.
So, I'd make an effort to do both but would placed the emphasis on getting my articles to the world with backlinks to my sites. This will get more traffic and hopefully more sales.
